A taper bushing should be selected as part of a matched shaft-to-pulley interface, not as a visually similar standalone part. Record the pulley code, bushing designation, shaft diameter and keyway before ordering.
Selection sequence
First identify the pulley family and its hub/bushing designation. Then select the bushing bore for the actual shaft. Confirm keyway and screw access and check that the installed axial position fits the guard, bearing and neighboring components.
