Use this path when the machine needs SPA groove geometry but the standard pulley hub, bore, axial position or surrounding envelope does not fit. The drawing becomes the controlling technical document.
Drawing inputs
Show the groove profile designation, pulley diameter, groove count, face width, bore and keyway, hub geometry and any critical concentricity or runout requirements. Add speed, transmitted load, duty cycle and environment where those inputs affect material or balancing decisions.
Revision control
Put a drawing number and revision on the file and reference the same revision in the purchase enquiry. This avoids mixing an old marked-up drawing with a newer geometry.
What is not assumed
Material grade, balancing grade, tolerance class and certification are not filled in from a generic application description. If those items are required, place them on the drawing or specification.
